Afterthought:

 

When comes to bathing, Betty is really very special. Apart from being very co-operative, she seems to enjoy the entire process. Very different from ordinary days, when we would experience difficulties in combing and wiping her for long, she allows us to cut, trim her nails and fur without a cent of complaint..... Betty, you're reallly adorable and a darling when you want to be one!!

An Eventful February

1) Pet Show 2015 至愛寵星 - Mission accomplished to our satisfaction !

Photos of Goldie and Betty and other 198 contestants were being selected for final of the 2015 Pet Show Photo Contest 至愛寵星.











































Through the concerted efforts of our supporters, Goldie came in 5th and Betty 6th. They were both being awarded the 3rd prize -- 5 bags of 4 pounds Hills Adult Ideal Balance.  So in total, we got 10 bags or 40 pounds of dry cat food.

We are truly thankful for this outcome, as this is the most practical gift to honour our mission to help the less fortunate children.  We have donated all the prizes to the following independent volunteers:

2) Betty attended 2015 Valentines Championship Cat Show - we lost in the game, but met a good friend!

 

Betty attended the 2 days event on 14th -15th February in the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. We decided to register Betty for the competition with the aim to gain more experiences.

 

 

 

We came home empty handed (in terms of prizes), but made a good friend Mandy Tang who generously and caringly shared a lot of her cat care experiences with us with the objective to make the children healthier and happier.

We are truly thankful to you Mandy, and we would not have met you if we had not made the bold decision to let Betty go for her maiden competition.  We would also like to thank Maggie (BB's mummy), Danny, Rachel and friend for their visits and ecouragement.
