To our surprise, both children behhaved well. Goldie used to be very frightened of lit candles and would run away. This time, she behaved just like how Kitty used to -- calm and co-operative. She is a good role model for Betty.
Some viewers might be surprised why the children wore scarf instead of head accessories. Likely they would be more at ease in this way than with something over their head. We were worried that Betty might be a bit fidgety, given that this was the first birthday party she had attended and that she hadn't seen any lit candle before.
Goldie, we are thankful to you for the past lovely 10 years. We look forward to another 10 years together, and may the Lord continue to guide, guard and protect you, giving you good health and lots of joy and happiness.

ReplyDeleteYes, when tried to think back, it was just like a dream. Glad that it was largely a smooth sailing 10 years for Goldie.... Starting to pay more attention to both her physical and mental health, with hope that the next 10 years could be as wonderful as this..... very greedy.... haha
